Have You Developed Your Own Mood Shifters?Have you Developed you own mood shifters?  What do you mean by mood shifters I hear you say?  Well Mood Shifters are things that help you improve your mood when you are feeling down, and they are usually very different for everybody.  It is important to lift your mood when you are feeling down, because you may not be giving off the most positive frequency and what happens with the Law of Attraction, Like Attracts Like!  So unwittingly you may attract things to you that you would really prefer to avoid, i.e., more situations that will continue to make you feel down.

I will use myself as an example.  When I am feeling down I will get to work on my mood shifters right away, I will look at pictures of my son both recent and when he was a baby and I will remind myself how grateful I am to have him, and I start feeling better.  I also use pictures of family holidays and good times to lift my mood, and music.  For example “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen, really gives me a boost and makes me feel that I can accomplish anything, it may seem corny but it works for me.

So what do you think would be a Mood Shifter for you?  Maybe start with pictures of good times with your family or friends, videos are also fantastic.  And let us not rule out our pets.  Funny videos of your animals are always helpful in lifting your mood.  Funny movies are also great; they will give you a lift in the most enjoyable way.  Exercise, a good energetic run or walk in the park, can be a great way to lift your mood; exercise releases endorphins in our brains that help improve how we feel.

Last but by no means least, go through your music collection and find a piece of music that you love that will be you Mood Shifter Music for when you’re down.  Be careful with music however, some of the music we love can be quite sad and although beautiful, it just may not cut it as your Mood Shifter Music, so make sure the song you pick will lift your mood.

Once you have your Mood Shifter Collection complied, always keep it within easy access.  Then the next time your down, don’t over analyze why you are feeling down, just head straight over to your Mood Shifters get to work and lift your mood.
