Tony Robbins 3 Pillars of Success.

Tony Robbins is one of my favourite Personal Development trainers.  He is passionate about helping people to achieve the results that they desire, and he delivers on his promises.

Tony believes that there is is a simple formula to achieving any goal in life, Tony calls this Formula the 3 Pillars of Success, and Tony’s Video above describes this beautifully.

Tony Robbins 3 Pillars of Success

Pillar 1.

Tony says to get clear about your desired result.  Look at what you want to achieve, make the picture of what you want clear and compelling so that it pulls you toward the achievement of your goal.  For example your goal might be “I want to have completed my first marathon, by this time next year, in under 4.5 hours.  I want to do this because it has been a long standing goal of mine and it will give me a great sense of achievement, because I know that I will have to adopt a strict exercise and diet regime to achieve this goal, and the benefits of which will positively affect many areas of my life not only my energy and fitness.”

Pillar 2.

Get a road map for the Goal that you want to achieve.  So now that you have a clear and compelling vision of the goal that you want to achieve, Tony says that you need to find a mentor, who has already achieved the goal so that you can model their actions and produce the same result.  So if your goal is to run marathon in under 4.5 hours, find a trainer who has already achieved your goal, copy their method exactly and you will be able to achieve the same result.  Remember success leaves clues, so be willing to accept help and guidance from someone who has achieved your desired result.

Pillar 3

For Pillar 3, Tony reckons that if you have a compelling goal and you have the best road map for achieving that goal, but the results are not showing up, then it usually means that you have to resolve inner conflicts.  For example, you have the compelling goal of losing 30 lbs in 6 months, you know that it will benefit your life in many ways, you have found a wonderful insightful trainer, however you find yourself unable to stick to your diet routine because of your love of sweet treats.  Tony calls this an inner conflict and he says that inner conflicts must be resolved in order for success to be achieved.  Once you have identified your inner conflict or block you have to work on removing it, so that you can move forward to the success that you deserve.

Tony suggests that by approaching all your goals using this 3 pillar approach, success becomes a inevitable, instead of just a distant dream.

To your success,
