A strong attitude can help you look past mistakes, failures, or the wrongdoings of others, and be able to stay happy and peaceful throughout the day no matter what happens. Develop an Attitude for Gratitude
You must remember that life is very short. You only get 24 hours in a day 7 days in a week. If you let a single circumstance bring you down, you will be wasting another precious moment. No matter what happens in your life, be grateful for every waking moment knowing that you shouldn’t waste any day in grief, heartache, or emotional pain. To develop your attitude for gratitude, simply focus on all the good and positive things already present in your life, such as your health, your home, your family, your pets. Say thank you to yourself acknowledging your gifts every day, all day long, you will be surprised at how good you feel, and how many more things you notice in your life to be thankful for.
You Can Control Your Feelings
Remember, you can control all of your feelings. If something happens to you, you can decide whether to feel bad about it or simply not care at all. For example if your partner leaves you, you have two choices, you can decide to be upset and to think that it is your fault, or you can decide to feel relieved that they left to make way for your perfect partner to enter your life. We all have a choice in how we should feel in certain situations, so aim to control all of your feelings and emotions whenever you can, and make a choice on how you feel based on what is best for you. Make your best effort to feel alright and fine no matter what. It may take some practice at first but remember all of your feelings will culminate and bring about more of what you feel. When you are mostly positive, only positive circumstances will begin to play out in your life. While the lifestyle of never experiencing anything bad isn’t always going to happen, you will soon feel as though nothing bad happens to you because of your ability to look at things in a more positive perspective.
Love Who You Are
To develop a good character, great positivity, and a love for others, you must love yourself unconditionally. Love everything that you are, from head to foot. It is important that you love everything about you in order to love others and consistently feel good about anything that may end up coming your way.
Feel Good
Look at all the things in life that you love. Count everything that you love personally, from your favorite singers to food. Once you have entered that state of mind of always being in “love” with everything and anything, no matter how imperfect the world may be, you will find that everything in your life is filled by everything you love. You cannot feel bad or feel negativity when all you do is feel love for everything and anything.
