T. Harv Eker is one of my Favourite Motivational Speakers and Authors. Although he is ultra successful and now very wealthy, it was not always so. In his book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, he states that he had 14 failed attempts at starting his own business before he succeeded.
Eker maintains that with each failure that he learned a bit more. He emphasizes that it was due to this education that he succeeded on a massive scale in a very short period of time. If I recall correctly Eker states that he went from zero to a million dollar business in just 2 short years.
He stresses in his talks and his book, the importance of taking action toward your goals. Eker believes that by taking action and moving forward with determined persistence toward what you desire, that anything is possible. He puts it as in the Quote above “If you are only willing to do what is easy, life will be very hard. But if you are willing to do what’s hard, life will be very easy.”
I love this quote because it reminds us that it is often the really tough things we have to do, that will make the biggest difference in our life or business. Such as getting up an hour early to exercise before work, so that you can achieve your target weight. Cold calling on 100 new clients to expand your business. Getting your business plan completed so that you can approach the bank for the finance you need to get up and running.
So the next time you meet a challenge, just tackle it head on and watch how your life will change for the better;-)
