5 Tips For Changing Your Life With Positive Affirmations.

positive-affirmationsPositive affirmations can have huge impact on your life if you use them correctly. Many people don’t fully understand how to use affirmations effectively, and therefore they feel that they don’t work.

However, when used as part of your daily routine positive affirmations can have an incredibly positive effect upon your life by helping you to cement new beliefs in your sub-conscious mind that will make positive changes last.

Tip 1: Always write Positive Affirmations in the present tense

When you start writing your affirmations, remember you always need to write them in the present tense, as if you had already received what you are wanting.

Write them from a positive perspective, avoid negatives because positive affirmations are to help you focus on what you want, not what you don’t want.

For example “I am so happy and grateful now that I am driving my brand new car”; “I am so happy and grateful now that I have just started working in my fantastic new job.”; “I am so happy and grateful now that I am in a wonderful loving relationship.” “I am so happy and grateful now that I am consistently earning $10,000 a month doing the things I love and enjoy”.

Tip 2: Make Affirmations Part of your Daily Routine

The key to making your affirmations work for you is to repeat them regularly. Focusing on them exclusively for 10-15 minutes two to three times a day helps to embed them in your sub-conscious mind and make them your reality.

The magic ingredient is to feel good when you are reading and focusing on your affirmations, aim to get in the mood of what you will feel like when you have received what you are asking for. Feel the excitement, the joy, the satisfaction. This will help your sub-conscious mind accept your positive affirmations as your reality, and it will speed up your results.

Tip 3: Put Your Affirmations where you can see them.

Put your affirmations up on the walls and other places around your home! Put them on your bathroom mirror, on your fridge, on the back of your front door, your office. This way your sub-conscious mind sees them as you go about your daily activities and this will help you to absorb their message, while also reminding you to repeat them as often as possible.

Tip 4: Change Your Affirmations as Your Life Changes

Your life will change and as it does you may need to change your affirmations. If you are affirming a particular income level, you can change this affirmation as you near or exceed the original level. Therefore its a good idea to update and adjust your affirmations as your life changes. This not only helps you to see how far you have come, but gives you the confidence that you will be able to make more improvements in your life.

Tip 5: Keeping Your Focus

My advice is that you begin with one area of your life, and as you bring about those changes you can move on. I personally have found that too many affirmations on too many diverse subjects at once will dilute the power of the affirmations and reduce their effectiveness.

The best way to make positive affirmations work for you is to pick one subject area and write four or five different positive affirmations out in that area. Focus on them exclusively for a month before adding any more. This will ensure that the changes the affirmations are making are both effective and long-lasting.

Using positive affirmations is a great way to easily make changes in any area of your life. Remember as you are reading your affirmations, try to imagine what it will feel like when you have achieved your goal. In my opinion your positive feelings are an important part of the process, and will speed up the manifestation of what you desire.
